After You’ve Marched or Watched…
The Party!
The American Rogues
From the very beginning the Tartan Day Committee realized that people did not want to go home right after the Parade, and that we needed to provide a place to unwind, to have a pint, to listen to more music. Over the years, we have had After Parade Parties, but now it is time to step it up. This year, we are making the Party FAMILY FRIENDLY! This is something Parade goers have asked for, and well, you asked, and we listened. At DESMOND’S, there will be a room, separated by curtains, so not totally out of the action, for children and their parents. Children under 12 will be admitted free, and DESMOND’S will provide free soft drinks for the little ones. They will be entertained by John Grimaldi, the Kilted Juggler.
Desmond’s
One other major improvement/addition is that Pipers are invited, no, encouraged to play their pipes. We know that the Parade was not enough time to play, and we beg you to continue. Desmond’s is that kind of place, and they can’t wait to have the sound of the pipes fill their space.

Another improvement is that you are welcome at DESMOND’S directly after the Parade. Come on over straightaway from the Parade, and while you are waiting for the main event (the open bar, band music at 4:30) you will find $5.00 beers, and a special limited menu available so you can line your stomach.
Now, to ensure another bang up party, we welcome back THE AMERICAN ROGUES. They are ready to play the night away.
